Former Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci has shocked the nation by storming out of his job the moment tense questions were sent to the supermarket giant.
“I reject the premise of my employment,” said Banducci, “a lot of stuff has changed since 2008, but don’t take my word for. I am retired, by the way.”
“If this company is going to act in bad faith by requesting I do what’s best for customers or answer the questions I am sent from journalists and the government about price gouging, then I am just going to leave.”
The now former CEO has since spoken out against Woolworths as losing his multi-million dollar a year job has left him unable to afford a weekly shop at the supermarket.
