Peter Dutton argues problems with nuclear power plan are a “private family matter”

Opposition leader Peter Dutton has refused to comment on recent revelations that his nuclear power plan is deeply flawed, telling reporters that any issues with the plan are strictly a “private family matter”.

This comes after a wave of criticism of Dutton’s plan from experts which Dutton has described as a gross attack on his personal life as a lover of nuclear plans.

“Some may say my history of attacking and dehumanising anyone who suggests a plan without doing the costings or developing a plan makes me a hypocrite,” said Dutton, “but this plan is a deeply personal to me and I would like everyone to respect my plan’s privacy at this time.”

“That includes asking about how much it will actually cost, how we plan to do it, whether we will be able to do it or if we ever actually plan to enact the plan. Those are matters for me and my family of donors to handle.”
