PM denies gambling donation addiction affects his judgment, “I can quit any time”

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has rejected suggestions that his party’s addiction to gambling donations is having any impact on why he refuses to ban gambling advertising.
The PM expressed frustration at ‘nagging’ voters who want him to kick his gambling donor habit, saying he is so close to winning big with the donations.
“I’m in control of it,” he yelled at voters after snorting a line of caviar provided by the gambling lobby, “I can quit any time.”
“Refusing to stop may make me less popular now, but if I keep going maybe I can hit the winning non-action.”
The lobby has offered this problem politician ‘support’ including fancy dinners, flights and chances to meet pro-athletes, which they say is not legally considered a ‘bribe’ pressuring him to stick around.
