Bipartisan media powerhouse Sky News has accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of going senile and called for him to be replaced after the PM fell off a stage earlier today.
While many outlets humanised the momentary gaffe, Sky News said they were ‘brave enough’ to call it what it ‘clearly is’.
“Albanese has clearly gone senile in his old age. People don’t just fall off stages like this. The only explanation is that he’s lost the plot and Labor are hiding it from the public,” said Andrew Bolt while dubbing it ‘Stage-Gate’.
Sky’s coverage of the fall then went further and called for Albanese to be relieved from his duties as Prime Minister, and replaced in this election by someone younger and more capable, like Kamala Harris.
Sky News went on to prove their point by showing a compilation of a few times that Albanese stumbled over some words.
“Is this a sign that Albo plans on being a dictator for life?” asked Credlin, “If he’s incapable of stepping down off a stage, he’s clearly incapable of stepping down as leader.”
In defence of their coverage being partisan, a Sky News spokesperson said, “Unlike Albanese, we know a thing or two about keeping balanced.”
