“That’s my Mayor!” says Melburnian commenting on his third Mamdani post in a row

Melbourne man Ben Cho has left the comment “That’s my Mayor” on a string of posts relating to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani this week, with friends and family of the 29-year-old beginning to express concern for his welfare.

Cho, who resides in Fitzroy, is careful to caveat his comments with the words “I’m in Melbourne,” with his posts typically yielding a steady flow of laugh reacts. 

“People have definitely been getting a laugh out of my comments,” chuckled Cho, even though The Chaser never asked.

“What can I say… I have a uniquely quirky sense of humour! He’s obviously not my actual Mayor – I live in Melbourne, so it’s really funny to say that he is.”

At press time, Mr Mamdani’s office had not returned our calls.
