Reserve Bank blames inflation crisis on people not selling their limbs on the black market

The Reserve Bank of Australia has come under fire after suggesting that the real cause of the inflation crisis is that not enough Australians are willing to sell their limbs on the black market for a quick buck.

The head of the bank told reporters that she believes that during financially tough times, we all need to make sacrifices for the economy.

“It’s really important the right now Australians just focus on the bare necessities. You really don’t need that slice of avocado toast or both of your arms.”

“I hear that many of you still have both kidneys as you have been saving one for a rainy day, well I am telling you that today is that rainy day.”
