Question: “What advice would you give to your younger self just starting out?” – Young Liberal

JD Vance:Young Liberal, had I known what technology was going to be mainstream I would have been so much more careful what I wrote down and what jokes I made. Politics changes often and it’s very easy for people to take what you say out of context, especially if it’s in a book you wrote. Beyond that I’d say if you have a great couch you’ve always got a warm place to lay your head and really pump out some good ideas.

Question: “What’s a good hobby that can help me be successful?” – Working Woman

JD Vance: Thanks for the question Childless Cat Lady. My running mate and mentor, Donald Trump, has taught me that a good golf handicap is the most important skill for a potential world leader to have so I’ve been playing a lot of golf. He always says when he hits the ball “you think Biden can do that?” and It’s true, I don’t know if Biden could do that. I also think writing is really important, I write a lot of words and sometimes people give me money for them, it’s pretty great!
