Question: “How do I find my passion?“ – Jane, 23
Robert Irwin: “Finding your passion is all about trying things. For me it’s all about animals and getting out into nature, I’ve done that on ABC, Channel 7, Channel 9, reality shows, game shows, documentaries the possibilities are endless. So find something and go all in! Crikey I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t been on Stephen Colbert freaking out Kevin Hart with harmless versions of our wildlife!”
Question: “I have a new dog, what food would you suggest for my angel?” – Katherine 38
Robert Irwin: Crikey Kate, that’s a tough one! My Dad had a saying, “Any food the animals eat should be good enough for us to eat.” Of course for legal reasons we can’t say that any more due to some… unpleasantness at Australia Zoo (Where Crocs Rule!) but I think it’s great you want your dog to have the best food possible. I reckon your best bet is to try a few different things and see what they like. Just don’t give them crocodile meat though, that’s not on.”
Question: “I want to be an influencer, do you have any tips on getting a good following?” – Broke Millennial
Robert Irwin: “Broke, there’s three things you need to be popular online: a good production crew, a family of TV royalty and being overbearingly positive. Maybe try having inhumane amounts of charm and natural charisma, and just get your Mum to organise some TV appearances for you, you know just to get you started!”
