Dutton to allow all future policy backflips to be done from home

Opposition leader and amateur gymnast Peter Dutton has announced a new policy allowing all future policy backflips to be done from home.

This after Dutton said he would defend the right of public servants to work from home from the man who was wanted to demand they work from the office, Peter Dutton.

The Opposition leader has denied this seemingly contradictory new position is based on disastrous polling because the polling also showed voters wouldn’t think it’s a great look to be solely reliant on polling.

Speaking over Microsoft Teams with his camera turned off in his pyjamas streaming The White Lotus, Dutton said he was unaware that his push against working from home was so unpopular as he hadn’t spoken to anyone in the office about it.

Dutton went on to say that working remotely is a Coalition tradition that must be protected citing ex-PM Scott Morrison seamlessly managing the 2019-2020 bushfire crisis from a Hawaiian beach and Barnaby Joyce serving as a shadow minister from a Canberra street gutter.

UPDATE – Dutton has since changed his mind on his most recent backflip and is now mandating that all policy backflips be done from the office again.
