Politicians remain silent on major crisis of what the fuck is happening to the ACLs of the Matildas

As the election date gets closer and closer, many voters have noticed that politicians have remained quiet on the issue of what the fuck is happening to the ACLs of women athletes.

This comes as yet another Matildas player has been sidelined due to an ACL injury, despite how one national icon having to sit out due the injury being one too many.

The major issue of the extremely high risk of ACL injury, that is affecting women’s sports leagues, has gone unmentioned in a way it definitely wouldn’t if it was a men’s leagues losing players constantly.

“Politicians tell me to be hopeful, but the only people who bring me hope are dropping like flies!” said Kathrine from Melbourne.

“We need action! Investment, awareness… a Royal Commission at the very least.”

In response to outcry, Australian politicians reaffirmed their support for women’s sport in the ‘going to games for photo-ops’ way instead of the ‘properly funding it, demanding equal pay, and researching the health issues female athletes face’ way.
