Australian sports fans around the country have been praising streaming app Kayo Sports for consistently giving them live coverage of some of the best loading screens.
“It’s so thrilling,” said Kevin from Adelaide. “Originally I got it because it was the main way to watch football, but now I pay for it so I can watch the non-stop loading screens.”
“There is no other better way to keep up-to-date with the action,” said Marnie from Melbourne, “sure a lot of the coverage is a loading screen, but the feeling when the room erupts when you finally get to see the website just crash completely. That’s what sport is all about.”
However, some party poopers who bizarrely prefer when you can actually watch the sport that the service claims to show have called for a Royal Commission into the Murdoch family who owns the service. With one disgruntled former Prime Minister who refused to be identified saying, “Look, I was all for the Murdochs while I was in power, but now I think we need to split them up so I can watch my Sharkies matches.”
“Seriously, we let them avoid tax and own 70% of the media, yet they can’t even deliver on showing us sport. That’s where I draw the line.”
