Liberal Party Senator James McGrath has asked people to stop freaking out about last night’s election result, saying to wait until the official result.
This comes as Labor, Liberals and most importantly, Antony Green have called the election for Labor; but McGrath claims that none of them have factored in the pre-polls.
“We are still waiting on this result,” he said in the ABC election studio not realising that everyone else has already packed up for the day, “we shouldn’t have any discussions about a potential new party leader or which party is in charge until we know for sure.”
McGrath has gone on to deny that Antony Green has retired from the ABC, saying that we can’t rush to conclusions regarding his career.
