Final backflip: Dutton denies being Opposition Leader

While many Aussies are voting, Olympic Gymnast Peter Dutton has stunned everyone with his last backflip of the campaign as he now claims that he never said he was leader of the Liberal Party.

This comes as polling suggests the party stance of ‘if you vote for us, Peter Dutton will be the Prime Minister’ was the worst campaign strategy in the history of Australian politics.

“I am not committed to being the Prime Minister if the coalition wins,” said Dutton. “That may be a line used by Labor and the Greens, pushed by the hate media, but it simply isn’t true.”
