Dutton fuming that there’ll be an ‘Australian Voice’ in parliament

Opposition incarnate Peter Dutton is reportedly seething after his efforts to keep a voice out of Parliament have been foiled by one determined Senator.

This after Senator Fatima Payman’s ‘Australia’s Voice’ party was announced today in response Labor’s inability to handle a different voice in parliament and the LNP’s inability to listen to one.

“It’s completely disrespectful to Australians who voted to stop ‘certain’ voices in parliament,” said a confused Dutton, “I mean we spent millions of dollars and relentlessly fed into the ideological bigotry of our voting base for months, like any self respecting politician.”

“Now this woman wants to just ignore what we’ve been saying because it’s ‘for the good of the country and its people’? It should not be allowed!”

“I will be recommending ‘Australia’s Voice’ be classed as a terrorist organisation so we can grind it into the dust in the name of self defence! Now bring me another overblown migrant story!”

The Liberal party leader has reportedly been soliciting Labor MP’s and senators to stand in solidarity against this ‘threat to democracy’ but finding very few willing to cross the floor for some reason.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese responded to Dutton’s tirade with an ‘off colour comment’ which he later whispered an apology no one could hear.
