Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has shocked voters by announcing the launch of the official Yes campaign just moments after the closing of the referendum.
“This is a historic moment,” said Albanese, “time for our country to work together and deliver a simple advisory body that allows us to better hear Indigenous voices and enshirn recognition of Indigenous Australians into the constitution. There is no time to lose.”
“We have a tough road ahead though, I don’t think No is going to fly to Hawaii during bushfires so we can’t Stephen Bradberry it like I did the election.”
Albanese said that he is excited to get out there and have people in person informing voters with simple direct informative messaging instead following criticism that his campaign so far has been occasional vague statements and a bizarre focus on getting big business endorsements.
“Let’s see if we can turn this vote around. Now, where is Shaq?”
