Australian Government exercises ‘right to disconnect’ following questions about Gaza

The Australian government has demonstrated its new commitment to ensuring work life balance by refusing to answer questions about the work they’ve done to help end the lives of Palestinian civilians.
“Every Australian has the right to go home at the end of the day,” said Anthony Albanese, “now if you get any questions about the ongoing geno… I mean conflict, you can say ‘sorry, can’t comment, its after 5pm somewhere’.”
“We’re making it easier for Australian families and politicians to take a break from work. Now if someone from work texts you and says ‘Hey shouldn’t we be condemning Israel after the UN confirmed they definitely didn’t need to bomb those hospitals and refugee camps?’ You don’t have to reply to that! Just put on F-Boy Island and forget your troubles!”
Foreign Minister Penny Wong also expressed excitement to finally address her “deep concern” at the amount of demands from voters against her having have the right to disconnect from “the goings on of the world”.
The Tasmanian government will vote next week over its “right to disconnect” from the mainland.
