A huge win the Australian Republic Movement as King Charles III has officially endorsed the idea of a republic after having to spend an entire day in Canberra.
The professional nepo-baby told reporters that he can not in good faith support any system that would require him to go to a place as boring as Canberra.
“This outdated system needs to change,” said the King after surviving a breakfast with the nation’s politicians and press pack journalists, “how it’s taken this long for us to not get rid of Canberra is honestly just embarrassing.”
“I don’t even get to go to Questacon, what’s the point of coming here?”
Experts say this might be the rebrand that the republic movement needs as despite being a literal king, he does still seem more relatable to the average person than other republic movement leaders like Peter Fitzsimmons and Malcolm Turnbull.
