Cornell to take rape allegations more seriously: introduces ‘naughty corner’ punishment

Following international backlash, Cornell University has announced they will start taking rape allegations more seriously by sending those accused of rape to the ‘naughty corner’.

This after it was revealed that in 2024 the university responded to a horrific alleged gang-rape by keeping quiet and just telling some of the alleged rapists to write an essay about it, information that was only revealed because the alleged victim took legal action and the student news paper took a risk by reporting on it all.

The university released a statement earlier today:

“We hope women know we take their safety seriously, it’s a top priority, just below protecting the reputation of ourselves and our male students.”

“But for now on, when allegations are raised we will explore the naughty corner option, as well as telling any other men knew information but did nothing, that doing nothing is ‘not on’.”

“We promise to deploy these drastic measures just as soon as a woman goes through the terrifying step of having to escalate to the point where the entire world knows.”

Meanwhile, self-described ‘good men’ online have begun yelling ‘Not All Men’ in response to every post about the disgusting story, proving that ‘not all men’ are outraged about the violence perpetrated by men against women.
