AFP hires PwC to investigate PwC scandal

The Australian Federal Police have announced that they have enlisted help from their auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers to help with the criminal investigation into professional services company PricewaterhouseCoopers.

“This investigation will be completely independent,” said the AFP commissioner, “trust me if there are any conflict of interests, my mates at PwC will find them.”

“PwC are experts at these sorts of things, we can trust them to thoroughly investigate their actions and advise us on how to stop them, while they also advise themselves and other rich people how to avoid getting caught.”

In response to the news, the AFP have already begun work on a unit to arrest any more potential ‘leakers’ who leak any other information of potentially illegal actions by PwC.
