Local man considers chucking a sickie to avoid ‘R U OK?’ Day

Local man Grant Michaelis has begun weighing up whether he will have the flu tomorrow after seeing some posts about ‘R U OK?’ Day being tomorrow.

“Fuck me, it’s that time of year already?” he said. “I’m just not in the mood, these cupcakes and emails do my head in.”

“If they ask me that fake question too many times, I might actually snap and say well if you pay me what I’m worth and stop making me have to do overtime I might actually be ok. But if I do that I’ll just have to have more bullshit meetings.”

“Maybe I could try take a mental health day but HR requires all this paperwork for me to do that, it’s too much stress.”
