“Political debate is under attack” says party who bans any outlet that asks tough questions

One Nation have labelled protests outside their meetings as a threat to ‘political debate’, a claim party leaders made at a press conference where multiple major outlets were banned for reporting that One Nation didn’t like.

This comes after The ABC was banned from One Nation pressers for reporting on an SA candidate having an active warrant in the UK, as well as The Age for reporting on allegations of improper donation handling, and also The Guardian for allegedly using an unflattering image of Pauline at some point.

“Democracy is about open and honest discussion,” said Pauline, “specifically open and honest discussion that stops at demanding I or my party be open and honest.”

“We must protect political debate by stopping any protesters and media who present things that make us look bad.”

Voters were left shocked by the press conference exclusions, due to it meaning the footage of her struggling to explain anything was in response to media outlets who only ask her easy questions.
