Liberal Party to defund SBS if Israel loses FIFA World Cup

Party trying to convince Australian voters that they have their best interests at heart, The Liberal Party have announced a drastic plan to defund the SBS if Israel is not the winner of the upcoming men’s FIFA World Cup.

This comes after Senator Sarah Henderson genuinely spent ten minutes during Senate Estimates going in back and forth with the bosses of the network grilling them over Israel not winning public vote from Australian Eurovision viewers,

“They dodged my Eurovision questions, but we wont let the network do this again!” said Henderson who earns well over $200k a year to do this.

“Then to rub salt in the wound, for some reason the SBS boss seemed more prepared for Senate resources to be used to ask about budget and editorial decisions not the Eurovision result. Clearly they have no respect for the taxpayers who foot the bill for those questions.”

“I give my word that at the next Senate Estimates, I will hold the network bosses personally responsible for every goal or penalty that goes against Israel this World Cup. The bias must be stopped!”

SBS bosses are hoping that due to Henderson falsely claiming that Australia put Israel last in Eurovision and getting the number of countries we could choose from wrong, that she might not even notice that Israel didn’t qualify for the cup.
