‘Shocking’: BOM’s forecast for website cost was way off

Australians have been left in shock as the Bureau of Meteorology has once completely messed up a forecast.

This as the The Bureau of Meteorology announced that despite predicting that the cost of the new website would ‘feel like’ $4m dollars, it ended up actually being almost $97m.

“You’ve got to understand, things feel a lot cheaper when you’re spending other people’s money,” the BOM’s chief said.

Following the mass outcry, the BOM, in another on brand move, went on to claim that it simply did not see this reaction coming.
