Woman saves home deposit after years of not eating, living, or breathing air

A 31-year-old Canberra woman, Hannah Sheded, has revealed a hack for saving up for her first home deposit, giving hope to the millions of young people vying for a piece of the Australian Dream.

“Look, it’s not for everyone, but I managed to scrape together a deposit by not eating, living, or breathing air,” the former resident of Belconnen resident shared.

“I’m actually not alive at the moment, I’ve been dead for several years. But this was the only way for me to avoid paying Lenders Insurance.”

Politicians from both sides say that Sheded’s story is an example for people struggling to get on the housing ladder.

“Hannah came from nothing, by the way, just parents who happen to be cardiothoracic surgeons,” said a Labor spokesperson, “Long live the Australian Dream.”
