AFL investigates turf standards after men suffer through conditions that are nearly as bad as the average AFLW field 

Investigations have been launched by the AFL after the AFLM has seen horrific scenes where the players have had to play on ‘unsafe’ grounds that are nearly as unsafe as what they make the women play on.

“We cannot risk a male athlete getting seriously hurt,” said the AFL, “not only are these fields a potential hazard, they also massively impact the performance of the players. It is simply not ok.”

“We must act quickly before we treat the AFLM more like the AFLW where they have to play on fields with sink holes, while having the maximum amount of seats in the audience limited, not getting proper equipment, playing games in locations and times that are inconvenient for audiences, and having the players cop all the blame for any negative impact that has on their league.”

AFLW players have put out a statement reminding the men that they shouldn’t complain about not being treated like the professional athletes they are, as they should just be happy to get the honour to play professionally.
