US sends military to restore order in tin pot dictatorship

The United States has launched military operations in the “people’s republic” of America, in a bid to restore order in the tin pot dictatorship.

This comes after events including the illegal rounding up of migrants, restrictions on women’s rights, restrictions of trans rights, mass protests against these actions which were responded to with police firing rubber bullets at the protesters and an Australian journalist.

“Enough is enough, it’s time to enact some freedom,” said a representative for the US army, “this rouge state is about to be shown how a civilised society is run.”

Reportedly the argument to ‘liberate’ the nation was strengthened after the US military found out that the nation has large reserves of oil.
