US President Joe Biden has issued a heartfelt statement wishing Theodoro Roosevelt a speedy recovery following an unsuccessful assassination attempt.
Biden went on to condemn political violence in all forms saying it has no place in the year 1912.
Biden has also denied confusing the 112-year old assassination attempt on President Roosevelt with the attempt on Donald Trump this morning.
“Seriously, I think I know the difference between Teddy Roosevelt and my Vice President!”
