Australian government announces two states of denial solution to Gaza genocide

The Australian government has taken their strongest stance yet about Israel’s genocidal attacks in Palestine, by just acknowledging that Israel is withholding food and aid from entering Gaza.

This acknowledgement was part of the government’s hope for a ‘two state of denial’ solution to the genocide, which they want to happen before things reach a point where countries like Australia would have to take drastic steps like ‘actually calling it what it is’ and ‘doing anything about it’.

“Things need to be better,” said PM Albanese, “and we are doing everything we can by supporting the recognition of grave concerns.”

“We must do everything we can to sound like we are doing something while actively denying our own track record over the last 18 months.”

“Clearly the solution is for all nations to write statements without any mention of sanctions and constantly attack anyone who brings up our role in the weapons trade.”

“In many ways this makes us brave heroes and it is misinformation to suggest otherwise.”

Meanwhile news shows and outlets around the country have entered their own state of denial while they pretend they haven’t been going all in on defending genocide for the past 18 months while firing journalists for covering it.
