RBA suggests those who can’t afford groceries should simply become landlords

The Reserve Bank have issued a statement following the growing concerns about the cost of living crisis and inflation, telling anyone who is concerned about the economy to simply become a landlord.

“The economy does not need a drastic change,” said the multimillionaire governor, “if everyday Aussies cant afford groceries, they should just raise their tenant’s rent.”

“If you’re really desperate just buy another investment property, adding in another form of income. Worst comes to worst you can get as second mortgage on your yacht.”

Treasurer Jim Chalmers praised the RBA’s advice, saying that his government will do everything in it’s power to help those landlords in need by not having any restrictions on rent raises.
