CSIRO accused of ‘pro-reality’ bias following assessment of Dutton’s nuclear ‘plan’

The CSIRO have been accused of holding a ‘pro-reality’ bias after doubling down on claims that a nuclear powered Australia would be very slow to implement and cost twice as much as a renewable energy plan.

“There is clearly a bias here,” said Dutton, “I mean how can you criticise my plan when the plan doesn’t exist?”

“We are coming into this election with a plan to use a type of nuclear reactor that doesn’t exist yet and put them up using a plan we haven’t thought of. To have any kind of criticism of that is just nonsense.”

“The CSIRO are not paid to base their analysis on ‘what actually exists’, they should be basing it on what my donors think!”

“This is just embarrassing for them. They haven’t even considered the possibility of getting the plants up faster using the power of birthday wishes.”
