Guy who ignored Gaza ‘for mental health reasons’ celebrates ceasefire with Instagram story

After a gruelling 15 months of scrolling past every post about Gaza, a local man has broken his internet silence to celebrate the ceasefire deal with a touching Instagram Story.
26-year-old Jayden claims he first remained silent on the attacks in the Middle East because they were ‘too complex’, before shifting months later to ‘mental health reasons’.
As the attacks continued, Jayden developed an expert ability to detect when his feed was about to show him anything related to the Middle-East, and quickly scroll away from it.
However, there were a few awkward instances at house parties where someone was talking about Gaza, at which point Jayden realised that even he had to do something.
“When I saw that AI ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ trend I got amongst it by liking the post. But that was mostly to impress my situationship at the time,” he recounted.
Upon waking up and learning of the ceasefire, Jayden counts himself as one of the most relieved.
“And just in time too. I was seriously close to getting on the verge of considering potentially debating taking a stance on my private account.”
Crucially, Jayden’s Instagram Story received 7 likes.
