“Dammit!” Christmas lights weren’t wrapped neatly last year

A peaceful family activity has descended into a full blown meltdown after revelations the Christmas lights were stuffed hurriedly in a box despite earlier promises they were neatly wrapped up the way Dad asked them to be.

“It’s about trust, you ask someone if they’ve done something and if they say yes you don’t think anything of it, now Christmas is absolutely ruined!” said John, an overstressed father of 2.

“I have to do all the work to make sure you kids have a nice christmas and all I ask in return is for a bit of consideration so that it’s easier for next year!” he said before storming off, ignoring calls from his wife to help with the cooking.

Enquiries were made following the explosive revelation that Christmas decorations were not put away neatly last year regarding whose job it was.

“If it was so important to you then why didn’t you do it?” said eldest child Kyle “In fact I’m pretty sure it was YOUR job, are you sure you didn’t just forget and pack it away at the last minute?”
