Costello counters perception Nine has a problem with women by assaulting a man instead

Peter Costello has countered the perception that Channel Nine has a problem with women by choosing to allegedly assault a man instead.

Costello was denied pushing the journalist, and has threatened to lunge at anybody who says otherwise in close proximity to an advertising placard.

“I hope people see us in a different light now,” said Costello, “both in my time at Nine and the Liberal Party, there has been accusations that our culture is unsafe for women. But now I hope that people see that we have modernised and are now unsafe for everyone.”

The outgoing chairman of the network has reportedly been headhunted by the NSW Blues in order to help take out whoever the star defender of the Maroons is during the next Origin match.
