Rumour: High profile Toowoomba man approached for next season of MAFS

Sources claim to have unearthed a list of ‘MAFS MALES’ ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 season, with ‘return to the good old days’ is tipped to be the theme.

The show, which promotes traditional family values by showing men being horrible to their wives, says it’s looking to continue ‘cash in on the infamy, Big Brother style’ going even more extreme until they reach the point where viewers stop hate-watching

Rumoured to be amongst the contestants is someone being referred to as ‘High profile Toowoomba man’, whose audition tape stated he’s looking to ‘recapture the innocence I’ve always maintained’ before specifying that he was not found criminally as a rapist, just called that in a civil court.

Channel 9 reportedly called the man a ‘perfect fit’ for the show, saying that if anything he may be over-qualified.

Sources claim the man will be provided free rent and ‘per diem’ expenses until the filming of the show provided he waives his right to sue the show or any of the contestants for defamation.

Others being considered for next year’s lineup include recent divorcee Marty Sheargold who’s ‘looking for someone who isn’t as serious as all these women acting like year 10 girls’ and Kyle Sandilands whose ‘keen on giving bigamy a try, always wanted two sheilas’.
