Meta CEO and guy who says he is a real human being, Mark Zuckerberg has taken a strong stance to defend democracy by refusing calls to remove fact-checking on their platforms.
“Imagine how contemptible I’d be if I just let misinformation spread freely on my platform,” Zuckerberg said, “what am I, some craven piece of shit who only cares about the bottom line?”
“If we removed fact-checking, propaganda would run wild, everyone knows that. If anyone says that fact-checking is politically bias, that just means they admit their side lies a lot.”
“I am not just a guy who totally driven by an evil greed. I clearly care a lot about democracy.”
