Trump calls NRL demanding NSW win be overturned

With the FIFA World Cup on pause, President Trump has set his eyes on State of Origin. However his newfound enjoyment for the sport has been short-lived with the President furious at the NRL’s decision to allow NSW’s win.

Trump reportedly got straight on the phone, just before the NRL announced a full review into NSW’s win.

“These tries are just unfair,” claimed Trump after betting $50 on the Maroons, “you have to rethink the decisions.”

The NRL has denied the phone call had any influence on their decision to launch a review, before awarding Trump the Wally Lewis Medal for Man of the Series.
