Mining billionaire and child actress Gina Rinehart has miraculously reunited her split parents, the Liberals and Nationals, after successfully pulling off a The Parent Trap (1998).
Canberra was abuzz this morning with news the Coalition would be ending their divorce, thanks to the charming schemes of their daughter Gina.
“It all started last week, when I was an 11-year-old girl at a summer camp. There I discovered a girl who looked exactly like me – my long-lost twin!” Gina told journalists.
“We realised we were separated as babies when our parents, Sussan Ley and David Littleproud, divorced last week.”
Gina then outlined how after switching places with her twin, they were able to discover that each parent still had feelings for the other, and regretted the fallout.
“So we tricked them both into going to the same holiday destination, where they reunited and got back together. So now we’re all one big happy nuclear family!”
When asked what inspired her mischievous plan to switch places, Rinehart answered: “Freaky Friday.”
