Thesaurus websites have reported a massive spike in searches for alternatives to the term ‘invasion’ today.
Representatives from the thesaurus websites have said that the searches seem to be coming from areas with lots of politicians and journalists.
This comes after the country that is never named in headlines has decided to now do something that the media refuses to call an ‘invasion’ in Lebanon, following a year of doing something the media refuses to call ‘war crimes’ in Gaza.
In response, political staffers have begun drafting tweets to express ‘grave concern’ for the safety of civilians in the areas while avoiding saying why civilians aren’t safe and who is to blame for that.
