Pauline offers to let Barnaby pick out the next batch of female interns

As former Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce announces his plan to leave the Nationals Party at the next election, One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has decided to rev up her push to pick him up from the Canberra footpath he drunkly lays on.

Pauline went into her torn shopping bag of tricks to try and finalise a deal, by offering Barnaby what he wants more than anything: the power to pick the next batch of party interns.

“Sometimes you gotta offer people what they want most,” screeched Pauline, “so I have done that for him. The hard sell, so to speak.”

“I think he is going to pray over the decision on whether to join the party, I saw him duck into the prayer room.”

The Nationals Party have said they are stunned that Barnaby would go behind their back like this, expecting more loyalty from the families man.
