Sydney Morning Herald begins writing article on what Zohran Mamdani’s win means for the Sydney housing market

As Zohran Mamdani comfortably wins the New York mayoral race, the Sydney Morning Herald have sent multiple reporters out to get an emergency story written about what this could mean for housing prices in Sydney.

“This is a top priority story,” yelled one editor, “it’s the only thing that matters about that election!”

“Quick, we need interviews with property investors, banks, real estate agents, landlords and young people with rich parents who are buying them a house.”

“Luckily we can rule out the idea that his policies would inspire similar policies here in Australia, as that would require the Labor Party to want to act on housing, and more importantly, have the right takeaway from an election result.”

Meanwhile the Herald Sun have begun work drafting a theory that the dictators from the Victorian Labor Party have rigged the New York mayoral election result.
