Mood for entire weekend to be decided by 6am Saturday

Many people around Australia have begun deciding whether they will try stay up all night to watch the Socceroos or whether they will try go to bed in time to get a proper sleep before the match.

Either way one thing is certain for these people, the enjoyment of entire weekend will be decided by 6am when the Australia vs Egypt men’s match is over.

“Any other weekend would already be ruined by being up before 6am on Saturday,” said Georgia from Melbourne, “but the World Cup is different.”

Cafes and pubs staying open for the event have reportedly warned staff that the moment the match ends, there will be an influx of customers who need a drink for two potentially extremely different purposes.
