Middle-aged dog sick of being talked down to

Local dog Rufus, who is 49 in dog years, has spoken out against the amount of humans who talk to him like a child.

“Enough is enough,” he said, “every time the people in the house talk to me they talk like I’m a baby. It’s humiliating.”

“Their voice gets higher, they don’t use full sentences. I can hear how they talk to the human adults in their life, why am I treated any differently?”

“It’s not just the people in my house, when I am out walking I will have random people much younger than me going ‘ooh puppy’. It’s disrespectful.”
