Local mother Hollie Day has reached the point of the festive traditions with her family where she has given up on ‘Christmas spirit’ and is moving on to the more reliable ‘Christmas spirits’.
Mrs Day had reportedly been sipping wine for the last couple hours but after one too many judgemental moments from the family she has moved onto harder liquors.
“I just need to get through this,” she said remembering why she doesn’t talk to all the family all the time, “I already had to rally the kids, now I need to deal with all this? It’s a real Christmas miracle that I can drink.”
Reportedly she has already begun preparations for a traditional ‘everyone be quiet and don’t open the blinds’ Boxing Day morning.
