Hot cross buns just 2 weeks away as News Corp has already started whinging about people not celebrating Australia Day

It’s that time of year again, as the traditional conservative media whinge about whether random businesses will celebrate ‘Australia Day’.

While a long time ago the whinging about people choosing to not take part in the controversial holiday would start when it was actually time for the holiday, it now starts much earlier with the ‘War on Australia Day’ headlines seeming to overlap with the traditional ‘War on Christmas’ headlines.

“I swear the cycle starts earlier and earlier every year,” said local man David, “I haven’t even finished putting up the Christmas Tree yet we are already on the conservative outrage about Jan 26?”

“I guess the only solace in how annoying they are is that culture war usually means we have about 2 weeks until hot cross buns hit the shelves, yum.”
