Following the NSW police’s violent response to protests against rolling out the red carpet for a man who the UN said incited genocide, the visiting Israeli President Isaac has offered to sign any pepper spray bottle used by the NSW Police.
“Well done NSW police,” said Herzog, “it’s not easy to run up to punch protesters with their hands up or grapple people praying to the ground, but they held strong and pulled through.”
“Last night pepper spray was used as a self defence weapon against some of the most dangerous so-called ‘protesters’ including the children, the elderly and a woman in crutches much to the risk of the officers’ safety who could have been hurt by the sheer amount of spray they used.”
“But if any officer wants me to sign their pepper spray as a memento, I would be more than happy to. I’m more used to signing missiles but with the similar shape I’m sure I can make it work.”
The Israeli president also praised NSW Premier Chris Minns, saying that his defence and encouragement of state sanctioned violence against civilians is “of a professional standard”.
