Trump says Sam Pang Tonight is “next” to be cancelled

After the unexpected cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, President Donald Trump has placed a new Paramount late show host on notice when Comedian Sam Pang, host of Paramount’s Sam Pang Tonight, was unexpectedly singled out by the President in a Wednesday press conference.

“He failed on the football field and now he’s failing at making people laugh” President Trump told a press pack.

“I keep saying, ‘bring back Rove’, I love Rove, he was the best host, not as good as me but pretty close… whose mum would even want Sam Pang to say hi to them anyway?”

Pang, who was previously a member of Collingwood AFL Club’s under-19s team in 1991 but was left unselected for their grand final appearance, was reportedly stunned to be singled out by the President for both his football career and late night show.

“I guess it’s just nice to know that at least someone watched the show” Pang told The Chaser, “I thought it might have just been Sky News journalists who wanted to call me woke.”

The AFP has reportedly briefed Pang after threats attached to his name began to circulate within local MAGA loyalist communities.

The Chaser understands Pang has been moved to an undisclosed location for his safety, where Ed Kavalee can’t make fun of him.
