Awkward scenes at Sydney Airport as Alan Joyce was spotted waiting in the baggage collection bay for roughly $9 million of his corporate payout that has yet to arrive.
The staff at the Qantas help desk have informed Joyce that regrettably the money has been lost in transit.
“God it’s so frustrating when airlines lose your stuff,” said Joyce, “I mean how can they be so unprofessional? What kind of company is this?”
Joyce has reportedly been offered some frequent flyer points as an apology for the lost items, with the $9m worth of points almost being enough to afford an upgrade to a legroom seat.
