Jetstar introduces ‘sitting inside the plane’ fee 

Jetstar has announced a new $400 fee for those who want to sit inside the plane instead of holding on to the outside.

The airline has denied the new fee is about earning more money, instead explaining that it is designed to help passengers who struggle picking seats.

“This is about the good of the customers,” said Jetstar, “why stress about window seat or aisle when you can instead enjoy some fresh air and a nice breeze?”

“Those who choose to not sit inside will be subject to an additional leg room fee.”

The airline is also considering future fees including a guarantee that planes will have wings and a premium fee for those who want to make sure their pilot has had any training.
