It’s time to stand up for change (if it’s ok with the people against change)

This newsletter is brought to you by spine replacement surgery, now available for Prime Ministers in need.

Hello Australians,

It’s your Prime Minister Albo here to tell you all about leadership as we head towards another election season. Just as long as talking about leadership doesn’t get construed as ‘divisive’ by some people, who I just made up.

If those hypothetical people do think leadership is wrong, I will back down from this letter immediately… in order to protect the leader community of course.

During the last election you all voted for change, and we promise to deliver that change, as long as the people you wanted us to be a change from says it’s ok for us to do so.

Change can be scary and I don’t want to scare the small percentage of voters from the ‘part of the problem’ community.

Peter Dutton is a dangerous man who does not care about the good of this nation. He consistently employs Trumpian scare tactics during every political debate now, which is why it is of the utmost importance to never debate him. He can’t act out in anger if we never make him angry.

We need to take a stand and not allow the culture war fiends like him win, and I believe the best way to do that is to just do exactly what we assume they want.

Yeah. Take that Dutton. I will not be apologising for stepping on eggshells around you!

Unless you do want an apology, in which case I will do so. Just let me know.

Australia, for this change to happen, we all need to stand up and be the change we want to see… just maybe after next year’s election. Depending on the polls.

I don’t know, even that might be a bit too quick. I’ll consult with the focus groups and then circle back to this.

But once I do, we will not cower in fear anymore. You know, assuming that Rupert says it’s ok as well.

Yours in strength,

Anthony Albanese

Prime Minister
